The
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Selection Post Phase 14
Recruitment 2026 notification on 13 April 2026 for 2919 (Revised) vacancies
across various Ministries, Departments and Offices of the Government of India
and their Attached/Subordinate offices. Candidates with Matriculation (10th),
Higher Secondary (10+2) and Graduation & above qualifications can apply
online for various Selection Posts through the SSC website ssc.gov.in from 13
April 2026 to 04 May 2026.

Age Limit
- Age limits for SSC
Selection Post Phase 14 vary post-wise and fall into ranges such as 18–25,
18–27, 18–28, 18–30, 18–35, 20–25, 20–30, 21–27, 21–28, 22–28 and 23–28
years as per the User Department requirements.
Application Fee
For General / OBC / EWS candidates: ₹100/- examination fee to be paid
online.
- For Women, SC, ST, PwBD
and Ex‑Servicemen candidates eligible for reservation: No fee (Exempted) as per SSC
rules.
- Payment Mode: Online
through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro,
RuPay Credit or Debit Cards within the prescribed time limit.
Selection Process
- Computer
Based Examination (CBE):
SSC will conduct separate CBTs for Matriculation, 10+2 and Graduation
& above level posts consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice
Questions with 100 questions (25 each from General Intelligence, General
Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language).
- Exam
Duration: 60 minutes for general
candidates and 80 minutes for eligible candidates using scribes; there is
negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
- Skill
Tests: Skill Tests like
Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency Tests etc., where prescribed for
particular posts, will be of qualifying nature and conducted by the User
Departments.
- Document
Verification (DV):
Shortlisted candidates will be called by the respective User Departments
for Document Verification and final selection as per post-wise and
category-wise vacancies.
