Space Research Organisation (ISRO), through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), has released the ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026
Notification on 27 July 2026 on the official website isro.gov.in. A total of
244 vacancies have been announced for Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant
(JPA), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Stenographer posts under Level 4 of the
Pay Matrix.

- Only Indian nationals are eligible to
apply.

marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized university,
completed within the stipulated duration of the course, AND proficiency in
the use of computers. |

Junior Personal Assistant /
Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6) |
Graduation with minimum 60% marks or
CGPA of 6.32/10 (completed within stipulated duration) OR Diploma in
Commercial/Secretarial Practice with the same marks criteria plus one year of
experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer; AND a minimum speed of 60 words per
minute in English Stenography; AND proficiency in the use of computers.
(Apprenticeship Training Certificate under BOAT/NATS for DCP/DCCP holders is
considered equivalent to one year of Steno-Typist/Stenographer experience.) |
ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
- Age reckoning date: 16-08-2026
- UR/EWS category: Maximum 28 years (born
on or after 17-08-1998)
- OBC category: Maximum 31 years (born on
or after 17-08-1995)
- SC/ST category: Maximum 33 years (born on
or after 17-08-1993)
- Age relaxation as per Government of India
orders is applicable to serving government employees, Ex-Servicemen,
Persons with Disabilities, meritorious sportspersons, widows, divorced
women, and women judicially separated from their husbands who have not
remarried.
ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
- Application fee for all posts is ₹100.
- However, all candidates must initially
pay a processing fee of ₹500 per application, uniformly.

written test performance, candidates are shortlisted for the skill test in the
ratio of 1:5 (maximum) to the category-wise number of vacancies.

Final
selection is based on marks scored in the written test, from among candidates
who qualify in the skill test. In case of a tie, tie-breakers are applied in
order: (a) marks in General Intelligence & Reasoning (Post 1,3,5) or
English Language & Comprehension (Post 2,4,6); (b) date of birth, with the
older candidate preferred.
